Girls!!!.......?

this girl is my cousins best friend, and i just met her a few days before valentiines day. all 3 of us have been places together like we walked to wal-mart one night. and i've been to my cousins house with her. when were all 3 together i can only talk to my cousin. i cant build up enough courage to start a conversation with her. when we see eachother we say hi and wave to eachother and stuff, but we dont really talk that much. im kinda shy, but i know that she's not. i see her talk to other guys but she doesn't talk to me. so i dont know if she's waiting for me to make the first move and talk to her first.


i've never had a girlfriend before, and i dont think shes had a boyfriend either. and im kinda scared at the thought of having a girlfriend because if we're ever alone i dont think that i'd be able to really talk to her. could she feel the same way and be trying to avoid the "boyfriend and girlfriend" thing?

you remind me of myself. i had no confidence that i could talk to girls so for a long while i avoided it. now i realise that girls are people so you should have no problem talking to them. start talking to this girl more and you will get more confident before long you won't be able to shut up.

Have you told your cousin that you liked her? your cousin could help you talk to her.





if you are scared of having a gf, then just don't worry about that.


just get to know her until things get comfortable for both of you. and when the time comes, you'll know when you'll be ready for a gf.

Reply:ok, im a freshmen too and that happens alot when it comes to kids like us...maybe work up with your cvourage and maybe confidence and tellher how you feel...she probably is shy to0 when it comes to you...maybe you should talk about something you both have in common and then build up from there and then keeep building and thwn soon enough and you both will get to the point where you both relize its time to start a real relationship together. ;]

Reply:Just talk to her. I know it is easier said then done, but you have to do it. Just bring up a light, random topic and start talking about it. See if you really like her. Also, break the touch barrier but not intrusively. Just put your hand on her shoulder or something when you talk to her. Just try to get used to it, then decide if you like her.
