when do most girls start there period. I'm 12 and have already started. Is that normal??

people start their period during middle skool... around 7th grade, so i guess is normal...
Reply:Yep you can begin anytime between 9 and 16 typically. Of course thee are a few tha go beyond or below that, but that is the average age. I was in the fifth grade when I started having a menstrual cycle. Although it sucks, it's perfectly natural. Jut remember what having your period means, and keep in mind the respsonibilityit bares! :)

if a girl does not have one when she is 16, then it is time to see a doctor because there might be some underlying problem.
