As a male I can't tell you which product is best for you. I hear that women prefer the pad for convenience yet like the tampon for being inconspicuous within certain clothing like bikini bottoms, for instance. "Pop your cherry" is a slang term. It means losing your virginity: Your "cherry" is slang for the hymen (the thin skin over your vaginal opening). So when it is "popped" it is broken and it is assumed that it was broken by the insertion of a male's penis into your vagina. Which, therefore, means you lost your virginity.





You can, of course, break your hymen for other reasons besides losing your virginity: i.e. when you masturbate, rigorous sports, when you bathe, etc. Now, a tampon can break your hymen, but losing your virginity is only regarded if a male's penis is inserted into your vagina during sexual intercourse. So a tampon can not "break your virginity."





Normally a woman will expect her period every 28 days. Sometimes the period comes early sometimes later. Certain other hormonal factors can delay a period. For example, many women who are heavily active in sports sometimes skip months. Good luck with your journey through life.

Again, Haven't started my period yet, but my friend has and I actually listened in health class cuz my teacher gave F's to anyone who wasn't able to answer simple questions he asked. Yes, people get their periods every month. Between you periods would be the time it take for you to go from the end of your period in January to the beginning of your next one because not every girl starts their period in January.
