I suppose when you were in middle school, or even if you still are in middle school, tank tops were not allowed. Did you wear them anyway?

Reply:it depends on what the top or dress is, if it doesn't look trashy and your bra straps aren't showing then you will get by okay. but generally, tank tops don't look that pretty anyways. Unless theres something unique about it.
Reply:well, at our school it depended on what teachers you had. almost all of them would be fine as long as your bra wasn't showing, but there was one dean that made a girl wear a sweatshirt over it.
Reply:Rarely. They weren't allowed. I know some girls could wear them and get by, others would get sent to the office and be forced to change into their gym clothes. Some are just less noticable for some reason.
Reply:lol yes i am in seventh grade, we can wear tank tops, just not spaghetti strap, i dont give a crap though cuz i wear spaghetti straps all the time, just wear a sweater lol

Reply:i never even so much as read the dress code....lol. but yeah i wore them. nobody said anything... the school did either make me change into my gym shirt or wear what they had (but it never happened to me :)
