Girls............................

what age do you have to be to shave and like how do I ask my mom to shave or ask her without really "asking her'???

*please help*

Girls............................
I was allowed to start shaving at 13. I think that age is pretty appropriate.

Talk with your mom......ask her what her idea of an appropriate age is.

I agree with the previous answer, make a joke about it to start with......but end the conversation on a serious note. Let her know how you feel about it.
Reply:Just do it
Reply:i started when i was in 6th grade. i asked my mom, and she told me no. i did it behind her back. that lasted a year. in 7th grade i forgot to take her shaver out of the shower, and she found out. she wasnt mad at all, just asked me why i didnt tell her.

just do it, its part of oral hygiene. if she gets mad at you, just say "i have to do it sooner or later!"
Reply:well i started when i was 10yrs. old and i didn't ask i just took one of her razors and figured it out.
Reply:I would just ask your mom. Now a days you don't even have to use a blade. They have hair remover that does not require a blade. I started removing hair when I was 15. Just talk to your mom about it. whats the worse that could happen.
Reply:i started at 13, just ask your mom. it'll be one embarrasing moment that you'll forget about later... =)
Reply:I was 13, but my cousin started at 10, she was a special case. Just tell your mom people make fun of you at school and make you cry, that should work!
Reply:well how old r u? r u wanting to shave your legs? or somethin else more personal? well i would just ask about shaving your legs, if your over 12 it shoudl be okay and just tell her you want to be growing up and start having nice legs. and you can shave personal areas as well when you get the shaver.
Reply:I started when I was 11. Make a joke like, "Wow, I feel like a monkey, my legs are hairy." laugh and then if she doesn't offer to let you ask. I know it's hard. I'm the oldest, so believe me, I know how you feel.
