i really love cooking. if i cooked dinner for a female friend of mine that i like would it improve my chances?

Yes it might. But unless you are tactful, it might just come off like you are (sigh) trying to do something nice, and be a good friend (as if...).

I've been in the business for some 16 years and love to cook, so knowing how may help, but yeah. my experience has shown that the chickies love a guy who can cook. Not just chile or burgers though. Get on line and find some thing romantic and woo her. Nice bottle of vino and watch to fireworks fly. Good luck!

u might want to go red with the wine and generous with the salads... pasta would give ur image an italian lover makeover:) the rest go with the flow:)
